_Feliz Natal to all our friends!  Hoping you are all restoring yourselves this winter as we prepare to go back into the warm sol again this spring.  I have been deep in the studio birthing some new Liberdade music and bringing the debut of our record closer to fruition....stay tuned! 

The New Year is bringing a sweet line-up of shows this January as we are gear up for our cameo appearance at ASU Gammage on the 19th of January as part of their Cultural Participation Series.  If you have children, this show is geared for them.  It will be from 10:00 to 11:30 in the morning with thousands of students being bussed in from schools across the valley.  It will feature our dancers from SambAZ and Capoeira Brasil in an electric theatrical presentation.  At the end there will be a chance for Q & A with students.  If you would like a copy of the study-guide that went out to teachers to share with your children , please download from the link below. 

January 20th :: The following night we will then go deep with an evening concert at the ASU Kerr Cultural Center.  You don't want to miss this intimate event  as we will take you on a sonic tour through the roots of Brasilian 'Batucada' and explore the origins of this rich Afro-Brasilian musical tradition.    Please get your tickets early as space is limited!

On September 9th experience the authentic sights, sounds, and tastes of Brazil at the largest celebration of Brazilian art & culture in Arizona history.  Premiere performance ensembles from across the state will join forces to bring you an action-packed evening of non-stop Brazilian music & dance through this sensational after-hours celebration at the world famous Musical Instrument Museum (MIM).  Witness sequined samba dancers, capoeira, folkloric dancers, master teachers, live art & visual displays as you groove to the ground shaking rhythms of Brazilian batucada, bands, DJs and more.  The event will feature exclusive night entry to the museum exhibits, along with two stages, lounges, bars and VIP access.  Traditional Brazilian beverages, treats and more will be served up fresh all night.
